The Lagadic research team works mainly on model-building and the development of perception and action strategies using visual servoing techniques in sectors such as robotics, computer vision, augmented reality, virtual animation and cogniscience.

Seven research laboratories in sectors linked to engineering courses; geomechanics, thermics and materials; structures and applied mechanics; components and systems for telecommunications; architecture and the processing of spatiotemporal pictures; applications in advanced electronic technics; solid physics; computing; chemistry of in organic materials and cristallography; metal working and the physics and chemistry of materials; software, digital analysis and statistics.

The Laboratory of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering works more particularly on processes and systems of Manufacture.

Legris Autoline

Autoline designs, manufactures and sells quick connectors intended for the connection of fluid-carrying tubes (gas & liquids) for original equipment manufacturers applications. The R&D department works on tomorrow’s regulation and materials.

PCI

PCI designs and manufactures facilities related to metal sheet forming, from the prototypes to the assembly of the body-in-white and openings including the inspection means. They cover all the manufacturing means from the component parts to complete assemblies: casting equipment, automated assembly and inspection which means including high productivity cutting centres and machining lines.

The Société des polymères Barre Thomas specialises in the manufacture of rubber and plastic components for the automobile industry. Its main products are mechanical anti-vibration components and bodywork seals.

Research covers the various aspects of the development of an automated system e.g. specifications, model-building, analysis, synthesis of laws of control and the study of their implementation.
